My team is focused on delivering a strategy and products designed to increase usage and revenue, predominantly via cell.com and mobile apps.

In 2014 we re-launched the site as a daily destination for scientists. The project lasted 18 months and involved leading a project team of 50 across multiple international locations and managing two external vendors. It required collaboration across every business unit and careful stakeholder management.

The results have exceeded expectations, growing our audience (traffic from search engines increase by 40%), increasing existing readers’ usage (usage per visit increased by over 30%), and new marketing tools are driving record numbers of conversions to products.

I was responsible for developing strategies and campaigns for promoting the Cell Press brand and its 30 world-famous scientific journals.

Successes included the launch of the journal Cell Reports, who witnessed record submissions and article usage. Cell Reports became the flagship Open Access journal for Elsevier. I also created Cell Press’s social media strategy, growing our social reach by 100ks of followers.
